Rayincarnations is a long-form generative art project that investigates form as the result of interaction between visible processes and underlying, unseen structures. Shapes emerge as these processes encounter limits that never appear directly, but only through their effects. Through this interaction, the work produces multiple incarnations shaped by the same hidden framework.
Each minted edition can act as a generator for exploring its own subspace. Rather than representing a single static output, a mint gives rise to multiple valid variations—referred to as rayincarnations—that emerge from the same or almost the same underlying conditions. These variations are sequentially indexed and considered legitimate manifestations of the work.
Collectors can navigate through these rayincarnations, revealing how a single mint unfolds into a family of related yet distinct forms. In this way, Rayincarnations treats the edition not as a static output, but as a structured space that can be explored over time.
